About

Who writes here, and why.

I am 39, Norwegian, and until recently I worked for over eleven years as a pedagog in kindergartens and primary schools. Bachelor in history from UiB, bachelor in early childhood education from HiT. Trained in Motivational Interviewing. No computer science degree, no prior software industry experience.

About a year ago I started building software. Today I run seven connected projects from one workspace: eight custom MCP servers, a hotel AI called Belliq, a Python learning platform at pytor.mwmai.no with 400 exercises and its own tutor agent, a trading research lab, a Linux distribution (VibeOS), and more.

The hardware is a HP ProBook. Not the latest. The point of this blog is partly to say out loud: you do not need the newest laptop or a CS degree. You need patience, a habit of reading the error message, and a system that remembers what you learned yesterday.
